About Saba Homes
IT’S A “HOME” FOR ORPHAN GIRLS!
Mr. and Mrs. Saghir Aslam along with their dear friend Mr. Akram Chaudhry worked on the idea of Saba Homes. They selected the site, and consulted the architects to design a building conforming to the requirements to accommodate 60 girls with their requisite staff.
A lot of hurdles and difficulties were faced while setting the foundation of Saba Trust but the teachings of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who talked highly of the significance of taking care of orphans, were what kept them going forward successfully. The groundbreaking of Saba Homes took place in June 2006.
Saba Homes although is a home for orphans but in no way is like a typical orphanage. The girls are treated as a part of their family and even refer to Mr. and Mrs. Saghir Aslam as Mama and Papa.
